Senior Fitness is a excercise class for any adult age 55 or older who is physically able to excercise. Classes will focus on making improvements in balance, agility, strength, and endurance, while providing an opportunity for socialization.

Learn how to recall vivid memories, analyze events and people that shaped who you are, and bring your story to life. Your handout, included in the class fee, will have an outline to help you organize and write your memoir step-by-step. Printing/publishing options will also be discussed.

Expand your musical horizons, and free yourself from sheet-music dependence!  Prior experience with chords is recommended. The fee includes the online book, online follow-up lessons, a recording of the class, and an optional monthly question-and-answer session. Class is held online using Zoom.

Learners will gain a basic understanding of line, shape, form, perspective, and artistic observation, with easy exercises to practice each concept along the way. We will begin with the basics and end with a step-by-step drawing project that puts all these new skills into practice.

This class will be held at the Garner Education Center. From puppies to adult dogs, this class is a great way to start or even just refresh the basics. Pets must be leashed and immunizations provided. This class is located outside. If any impending weather, you will be notified and a make-up date will be scheduled. 

This class will meet outside in the grass NW of the Garner Ed Center.

Continue expanding your dancing horizons! Build on your dance fundamentals and learn how to apply them to other styles, including Tango and Waltz. Participants should have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of “Lead/Follow.” Prerequisite: Completion of Beginner 1 or equivalent experience.
