Develop the hands-on skills needed for a career in the welding industry. NIACCs Workforce Solutions provides training in welding techniques, metal fabrication, blueprint reading, safety practices, and equipment operation. Students gain practical experience working with industry-standard tools and processes while preparing for entry-level employment, construction, maintenance, and skilled trades careers.

Spark a new career in welding! Learn and develop the basic skills for entry-level manufacturing welding with Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) process. Throughout this classroom and hands-on lab training, you will be instructed on the proper weld safety, machine setup, and welding techniques and procedures to weld carbon steel in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions. In addition, you will receive training in general math, maximizing your time in the workplace, communication, and job searching in order to be successful in obtaining and maintaining employment in this high-demand field. Personal protective equipment will be provided.

There will be a mandatory orientation on July 1st, 2026 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Registration will close on June 23rd, 2026 at 3 pm.
